My name is Dora. I was born in the Seychelles in 1957 and I met my husband Baudouin there at the end of the 1970s. He had the soul of an adventurer and had left Belgium to discover Africa only to land a little by chance in the Seychelles. In 1972 , Seychelles was a British colony. There was a communist coup in 1977 and life became much more complicated for expatriates. We then left to live in Belgium in 1987. I have a daughter Kathrine who was born in 1981 in the Seychelles too and who currently lives in Brussels. She is the one who helps me manage Katiti Lodge, with the help of her husband Christian. In this photo, you can see my little brother Jean-Claude who lives close to Katiti Lodge and who also lends us a hand in this adventure. Looking forward to welcoming you on my island, lost in the middle of the Indian Ocean!
